The two computers in the house both run Ubuntu. I'm making this post on an Android phone. 9 and a few others let me record and mix my silly little hardcore songs. I played EV Nova, Warcraft 2, SimCity 4000and others and it was fantastic. I even ran MacHTTP and other server software to power the website for my little game I was making and it's forums, and my blog.
I checked my email with Eudora and WamCom handled all of my web browsing needs with aplomb (I still don't watch a lot of videos or that kind of stuff). But for what I did it was excellent! I wrote with Nissus Writer and did my graphics with Mechanisto and Photoshop 5 and GraphicConverter. Before that, my g3-1ghz upgraded Power Mac 8500 was my daily driver, even running OS X 10.4.8 if it had to, but usually 9.1.Įven that long ago, OS 9 was long in the tooth.
